All of our prices are in Canadian dollars. You can pay with USD cash or Visa, Mastercard or Canadian debit card.
We are open 10:00 – 4:00 daily from early May through to the end of September.
We recommend pre-booking; however, we are generally able to accommodate drop-ins for lunch if you check in with the gift shop upon arrival.
Our BBQ closes at 2:00 daily, however our café is open until 4:00 for ice cream and goodies.
We do lots! Of course, there is a lot of dog mushing, but we also ski, snowmobile, play hockey, Rendezvous, have a very active arts community, drink lots of coffee and watch the northern lights =)
We are 45 minutes south of Whitehorse on the South Klondike Highway and 1 ½ hours north of Skagway Alaska.
We have a general admission fee of $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids 12 and under. (4 and under is free). We don’t have a puppy only admission cost, but you do have access to the entire park - puppies, the petting farm and the 2 museums for the general admission fee.
Our mushers have a specific breeding program to facilitate their kennel growth for their racing teams. Rather than breed unnecessarily - we choose to work with the Humane Society Yukon to help foster puppies as they find their “fur-ever” home. There are many pups in the Yukon that need a family, and we love being part of this win-win program! We usually have a couple of litters at least of adorable pups for you to see. In 2022 we helped adopt out 28 puppies to homes across the Yukon and a few to the USA.
With our BBQ lunch we have a vegan and gluten free option which is dahl and rice. (Red Lentil and Curry dish).
Our dogs are very loud when they know there is a cart ride about to happen – that’s their way of saying of expressing their excitement to run and saying, “pick me, pick me”!!
We’re always looking for amazing customer service minded folks to work at WAY. Please get in touch with us at info@wildaventureyukon.ca to chat!
